These photos reflect the astounding views of the Hoover Dam.  Additionally they reflect the hazardous work conditions that workers encounter each day.  While traveling through these types of breathtaking sites, do we ever ask ourselves "How were they built", perhaps the photos can answer these questions for you.  I do not have statistics on injuries, accidents, etc. however I do know that there have been several cranes that have collapsed since the beginning of the project.
